Unit 22.3 Video/Edit Review
The clips at the start are slow and fade nicely into one another, this a good effect as it shows Andy is a 'normal' person aswell as having a musical talent.
The text 'Music That Means Something' does not stand out very much. I did this so the subject of the frame (the guitar) is still the main focus, however the I believe the text is just visible enough to blend in without being unreadable.
I believe it is good how all clips, music and audio relate to the topic as someone who watches it is more likely to only be interested in the songwriting, so would not be interested if there was something not relevant.

Unit 22.2 Treatment Template
Title: Music That Means Something
Producer and Director: Keilan Braithwaite
Duration: 2 - 3 minutes approx.
Audience: The audience I want to focus on is those interested in music, and show them some background in how music is made.
What is it about: An interview with Andy Buchanan about his songwriting; showing how he does it and what he is proud of.
Suggested Elements: I will show him singing and playing on of his songs from a variety of angles. I will ask Andy to say the question during his answer therefore giving the video a better flow. I will also incorporate clips of him playing instruments and talking about what he does (random clips that are not in the interview e.g. why he likes power chords) to bridge the gaps between questions.
Shooting Days: Friday. I believe this to be a good day for filming as it gives me time to set up all shots/music.

Unit 22.2 Initial Ideas
1) My first idea is to film my band mate who is (in my opinion) a very good singer/songwriter which will be the basis of my video. I will interview him; however I will tell him to say the question in the answer so the viewer can concentrate on him and to make the video more personal, I believe this effect will be very useful and create a more interesting video because of it.
2) My second idea is to film a friend of mine who works as a mechanic on cars. I will film him talking about his job next to a vehicle he is working on, I will change the positions of the shots to keep the video visually engaging.
3) My third idea is to film my 6 year old sister drawing/painting. Although she is no better than anyone else her age I believe this will show realism to the viewer, hopefully the viewers will after this video see children as artists and not just learners.
In all my ideas I will use multiple cut scenes to show what the interviewee does and why it is interesting.
