Title: Music
Producer and Director: Keilan Braithwaite
Duration: 21 seconds approx. For 3 shots with durations 2x 5 seconds, 7 seconds and opening and closing titles.
Audience: The audience I want to focus on is people who listen as I would like to show them see its more than just writing a song for a composer, it is a musical journey where they try out different sounds to portray their message to the audience.
What is it about: A video Haiku consisting of 3 shots; 5 seconds long, 7 seconds long finishing with a 5 second long shot. In this the video must show the haiku it is based on.
Suggested Elements: The first shot will be of several musical instruments to represent Music and Power, I believe this will work well as a panning shot as I can fit more into the shot that way. The second shot will be a close up of someones hand playing the guitar to show the notes they hit. The last shot will be someone getting into bed smiling and shows the 'dream' element of the haiku.
I think that the shots would work well together if they were joined by a fade to black then a fade in of the next shot as it shows the slow progression of song writing and how the musician usually waits for ideas rather than finding them.
Shooting Days: Sunday. The weather forecast is Light Rain however all my shots are to be done indoor so this does not affect my progress. I believe this to be a good day for filming as it gives me time to plan all shots/music.
